The Children’s Museum of Atlanta reopened Winter 2016 and the new museum is a child’s wonderland! It is a place where a child can find what excites her and play there all day!

There is a traveling exhibit: Mystery of
the Mayan Medallion. It will run through May 31, 2016. It’s a great exhibit with many Mayan discoveries, symbols, and ways of life. This exhibit is great for an older child who is about 7-10 years old.

A favorite and well-visited is the Waffle House kitchen & diner area. Children in Chef’s aprons are all around bustling, slinging orders, pouring coffee, making bacon sandwiches, and adults linger in the booths (to catch a rest) getting served their meals. It is a busy location at the museum.

Right next door is the Grocery store with loading dock and conveyer belt.

It’s a great for kids to play with parents & alone!

This museum is FREE the Second Tuesday of the Monday thanks to Target! If your child really loves it, memberships are available too!
